We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, SMB Expansion Sales to lead a team of managers overseeing global sales teams and help drive Motive’s largest revenue stream through technology sales to small and medium businesses (SMBs). This role is remote but requires travel to our offices in Lahore or Islamabad, Pakistan.

Role Description
As a Senior Manager on our Small and Medium Business (SMB) team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of managers, each overseeing account executives working within Motive’s growing customer base. You will help drive team success by leading with a focus on meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets and ensuring effective execution of the sales playbook. This is a leadership role that demands strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Management: Achieve and exceed booking and revenue targets with a team of Managers who oversee their own teams of Account Executives.
  • Team Leadership: Guide, coach, and develop managers and their teams, ensuring clear alignment with targets, KPIs, and operating metrics.
  • Sales Process Oversight: Drive the consistent execution of Motive’s end-to-end sales playbook; collaborate closely with sales operations to align CRM processes and improve sales tracking.
  • Training & Coaching: Develop and deliver training programs for sales managers and account executives to improve sales effectiveness and negotiation skills.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain and review sales pipeline, manage team performance, and forecast sales to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal teams such as marketing, sales, and product to ensure best practices are shared and strategies are aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Product Knowledge: Ensure proficiency in all of Motive’s offerings (ELD, Dashcam, Motive Card) and utilize them effectively in sales pursuits.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance evaluations and one-on-one sessions with your sales teams to foster continuous growth and skill development.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in International Sales, with 2+ years in Sales Leadership, ideally in a technology or product company.
  • Track Record: Proven success in B2B sales, preferably with US Market experience and demonstrated ability to manage short sales cycles in fast-paced environments.
  • Leadership: Experience with second-line leadership (managing other managers), and the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams towards achieving common goals.
  • Sales Skills: Exceptional contract negotiation and sales closing skills, with a deep understanding of pipeline management and sales strategy.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work with minimal guidance, tackle ambiguous projects, and resourcefully execute plans and initiatives.
