We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a focus on ERP and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems). If you have a solid background in Java EE development and experience with ERP systems, we invite you to apply and help drive technological advancements in the laboratory equipment and instruments space.

Job Responsibilities

  • Java EE Development: Design, develop, and implement Java EE-based applications for ERP and LIMS systems.
  • Integration: Work with JSF 1.2/2, Rest/SOAP services for seamless integration between systems.
  • Database Management: Implement and manage database solutions, particularly PostgreSQL and Oracle Database, optimizing SQL queries for performance.
  • ORM Expertise: Use Hibernate ORM to manage object-relational mappings in systems for efficient database operations.
  • Web Interface Development: Implement HTML and CSS components to build user interfaces for web applications and ensure responsive, scalable designs.
  • Testing & Maintenance: Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to maintain the quality and performance of systems.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and project managers, to define technical requirements and implement solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Documentation: Provide thorough documentation for code, system configurations, and solutions developed to ensure ease of use and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience with Java EE development, including expertise with JSF 1.2/2, Hibernate ORM, and Rest/SOAP services.
  • Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of PostgreSQL/Oracle databases, with extensive knowledge of SQL and query optimization.
  • ERP & LIMS: Experience working with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).
  • Technical Background: A degree in B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in IT or B.Sc. in a Science stream is preferred.
  • Analytical Instrument Knowledge: Familiarity with the analytical instrument market, customers, and applications used in the life sciences, food, and chemical industries.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively, ensuring uninterrupted functionality for users.
