Aslase is looking for an experienced and skilled Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on Node.js and Vue.js. As a Full Stack Engineer at Aslase, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead new feature development, and mentor junior developers. Key Responsibilities
- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and responsive front-end solutions using Vue.js.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, understanding requirements, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring seamless delivery of features.
- Optimization & Maintenance: Optimize application performance and scalability; maintain and enhance existing codebases while adhering to best practices.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them grow their skills and fostering best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and debugging, ensuring the reliability and high quality of the software solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively engage in the continuous improvement of the software architecture and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in full-stack development.
- Backend Expertise: Proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
- Frontend Expertise: Strong experience with Vue.js for frontend development.
- Database Knowledge: Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Microsoft Azure (a plus).
- System Architecture: Strong understanding of system architecture, with a focus on designing scalable, efficient, and reliable systems.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
- Modern Development Practices: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git.
- Testing Tools: Experience with testing frameworks to ensure code quality.
- Additional Frontend Frameworks: Knowledge of React or Angular is an advantage.
