Key Responsibilities

  1. New Business Opportunities
    • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the solar energy sector (residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural).
    • Develop a pipeline of potential clients and sales leads.
  2. Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
    • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  3. Growth Strategies
    • Develop and implement growth strategies to expand BMY Renewables’ market share.
    • Work closely with the management team to align business development plans with company goals and objectives.
  4. Sales Management
    • Oversee and manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and final closure.
    • Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  5. Technical Communication
    • Explain technical aspects of solar energy solutions to clients and prospective customers, ensuring they understand the benefits and advantages of the technology.
    • Collaborate with the technical and operations team to align sales offers with customer requirements.
  6. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
    • Keep up to date with trends, advancements, and changes in the renewable energy industry.
    • Monitor competitor activity and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
  7. Reporting & Performance Tracking
    • Provide regular updates to management on business development progress and pipeline.
    • Track performance metrics and analyze the effectiveness of strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in business development, sales, and relationship management, preferably in the solar energy or technical industries.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience with a demonstrated track record of driving growth and meeting sales targets.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to explain technical details and solar energy solutions to a wide variety of audiences.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and risks.
    • Experience with CRM software and sales management tools is a plus.
    • Strong team collaboration and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the renewable energy industry and solar energy solutions (preferred).
