CBA is seeking a highly skilled Devsysops Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lahore. The role is critical to our operations, ensuring that infrastructure and development systems function seamlessly. You will work with cloud technologies, microservices, and automation tools to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Responsibilities

  • Linux System Administration: Manage and optimize Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Version Control Management: Use Git and GitHub for code versioning and maintain smooth workflows with GitHub-flows.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
  • Infrastructure & Networking: Configure and optimize Nginx (including reverse proxy setup, stream module, rate limiting, and maps), ensuring secure and high-performance operations.
  • Cloud Integration: Leverage tools like Cloudflare for performance and security optimization, ensuring global reach and load balancing.
  • Monitoring & Alerts: Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and AlertManager for observability and quick troubleshooting.
  • Logging & Analysis: Utilize Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash for log management and real-time analysis, improving the debugging process.
  • Database Management: Manage the deployment and configuration of databases like MySQL and Redis, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
  • Scripting & Automation: Write and optimize Bash and Python scripts for task automation, improving operational efficiency.
  • Deploying Microservices: Work with Java, Spring Boot applications, ensuring efficient and reliable deployments within microservice architectures.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to ensure continuous delivery pipelines are maintained and that processes run efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in DevOps or System Administration roles, with hands-on knowledge in deploying and managing modern infrastructures.
  • Linux System Admin: Strong proficiency in Linux systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.), including experience with system performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Cloud & Networking: Solid understanding of cloud technologies and networking concepts (Layer 4, Layer 7, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, etc.).
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Experience in Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration for application management and scaling.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Familiarity with continuous integration, deployment pipelines, and tools for automating build and release processes.
  • Scripting Skills: Strong scripting knowledge in Bash and Python to automate system tasks and optimize workflows.
  • Databases: Experience with MySQL, Redis, and understanding of database deployment, performance, and management.
  • Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, and infrastructure tools like Nginx, Prometheus, Grafana, Cloudflare, and Elasticsearch.
  • Microservices: Practical experience with microservice architectures, deploying Java applications, and understanding Spring Boot frameworks.
