Role Description
As a Production Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing Production Processes: Ensuring smooth operations, maintaining optimal production efficiency and monitoring quality control standards across all stages of the production process.
- Ensuring Compliance: Adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO standards to guarantee that all products meet regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of quality.
- Training & Development: Conducting training sessions for production staff to ensure familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and industry best practices.
- Research & Process Improvement: Constantly researching to identify areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall product quality.
- Record Maintenance: Maintaining detailed records to meet regulatory and industry standards and ensuring data accuracy for audits and inspections.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Pharmacy, Food Science, Biochemistry, or any related discipline.
- Experience: Prior experience in quality control and manufacturing within the nutraceutical or pharma sectors is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge and expertise in GMP standards, ISO certification processes, and quality management systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities to address production-related challenges efficiently.
- Research Skills: Ability to independently research and implement process improvements for enhanced productivity.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and process execution.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively train staff and ensure seamless coordination across teams.
