Mogi I/O is seeking a highly skilled Front-End Visualization Specialist for a 6-month contract role. As part of a dynamic team, you will use your expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and data visualization to deliver highly interactive, graphical web experiences. This full-time remote position requires you to bring your advanced skills in front-end development, especially in data visualizations using TikZ/PGF and D3.js, to our OTT, Podcast, and Short Video applications. We’re looking for individuals who thrive in a remote, collaborative environment, are motivated to write efficient code, and are ready to help create outstanding visual content that is both scalable and interactive.

Responsibilities

  • Code Development:
    Write clean, reusable, and scalable code focused on front-end performance.
  • Visualization:
    Develop complex data visualizations, charts, and graphics using TikZ/PGF, D3.js, and SVG within web applications.
  • Integration:
    Collaborate closely with back-end developers to ensure seamless front-end and back-end integration.
  • Maintain Architecture:
    Create and maintain modular, component-driven architectures for front-end development.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code that adheres to best practices and performance optimization standards.
  • Cross-Browser Compatibility:
    Ensure applications are responsive and perform well across multiple browsers.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in front-end development with strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Redux.
    • Expertise in TikZ/PGF and/or D3.js for complex data visualizations is essential.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of ES6+, state management, and component architecture using React.
    • Hands-on experience with Git and Agile methodologies for efficient project management.
    • Familiarity with SVG and other data visualization libraries is a plus.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Communication:
    • Proficient communication skills in English for effective collaboration within remote teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Sketch for collaborative design processes.
  • Experience working with charting or graphical rendering libraries in web applications.
