CODE Informatics is seeking a skilled and passionate Mobile Developer Cordova Specialist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
As a Mobile Developer Cordova Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
Application Maintenance & Debugging
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs across iOS and Android platforms in the existing Cordova-based mobile application.
- Provide detailed analysis and efficient solutions to issues reported by internal teams or users.
Feature Development
- Design, implement, and test new features based on project requirements.
- Seamlessly integrate new features into the existing Cordova application, ensuring code integrity and high performance.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with fellow mobile developers to share best practices and review code for the Cordova framework.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager, support staff, and development teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
Code Quality & Documentation
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following project guidelines and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Cross-Platform Compatibility
- Ensure the application performs consistently and efficiently across both iOS and Android platforms.
- Optimize app performance for a seamless user experience.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality, stable code.
- Collaborate with QA teams and assist with manual testing as needed.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
Proven Experience
- 2+ years of experience in mobile application development, specifically working with Apache Cordova or other cross-platform mobile frameworks (e.g., Ionic, React Native).
- Strong expertise in debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting mobile applications.
- Experience with the mobile app deployment process for both iOS and Android.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience working with native Android/iOS features and capabilities within Cordova (plugins, permissions, etc.).
- Strong familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with mobile application testing, including unit and integration testing.
- Ability to work with Cordova plugins and create custom plugins for enhanced functionality.
- Knowledge of App Store and Google Play submission guidelines and processes.
- Familiarity with working with ASP.NET web services and APIs.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines and project goals.
Nice to Have
Candidates with the following experience will be given preference:
- Experience with Swift and Kotlin.
- Experience with T-SQL queries, building views, and stored procedures.
