We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and safety of our food products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) systems to maintain high product standards.
- Conduct routine quality control (QC) inspections on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Perform and document laboratory testing for microbial, chemical, and physical parameters.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO, FSMS) and company policies.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues.
- Prepare and maintain detailed QA reports and documentation for internal audits.
- Conduct training sessions on QA/QC practices for production staff.
- Participate in the evaluation and approval of suppliers and raw materials.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in the frozen food industry.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, or other relevant standards.
- Proficiency in laboratory testing methods and tools used for quality analysis.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
