G&M Salon Apparel is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and driven individual to join our dynamic team as an SEO Assistant. This remote full-time role will involve supporting our SEO specialists to execute various strategies and techniques to enhance our online visibility. Ideal candidates will have experience or an eagerness to learn and contribute to improving the performance of our website and driving organic search growth.
Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research: Conduct thorough research to identify high-value keywords using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Content Optimization: Optimize website content (meta tags, headings, body copy) to ensure alignment with target keywords for better ranking.
- Link-Building: Assist in managing outreach campaigns for acquiring quality backlinks to enhance domain authority.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, providing reports to assess SEO efforts and suggest improvements.
- Report Creation & Trend Monitoring: Prepare SEO reports, analyze metrics, and stay updated with the latest trends in SEO, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with the SEO team, contributing ideas and suggestions for ongoing SEO improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience with SEO techniques (preferred but not mandatory).
- Skills: Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and synthesize data.
- Communication & Organization: Ability to effectively communicate, manage tasks, and stay organized in a remote working environment.
- Learning Agility: A genuine interest in learning new technologies and SEO methods to stay ahead in the industry.
PC and Internet Requirements:
- PC Specifications: Must have a personally-owned PC or laptop with at least an Intel i5 processor or its equivalent.
- Internet Speed: A minimum internet speed of 15mbps for both upload and download.
