AEG Consulting is looking for a highly experienced Google Cloud Solutions Architect to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions. Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement advanced cloud solutions with a focus on scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Provide leadership and technical direction during the design, development, and implementation stages.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk analyses for potential cloud architecture approaches.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including diagrams, blueprints, and operational guides.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the cloud infrastructure and related services.
- Communicate technical strategies, designs, and progress updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with cloud service providers.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance business outcomes.
- Implement DevOps tools and practices to drive operational efficiency and streamline workflows.
- Perform regular reviews to optimize performance, cost efficiency, and scalability of the infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Certifications: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Certification is mandatory.
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or similar role, preferably in capital markets or financial industries.
- 20+ years of expertise in solution architecture with hands-on experience designing and deploying complex systems.
- Extensive experience with major cloud platforms, including Google Cloud (preferred), AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding and application of DevOps practices, tools, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
- Experience automating infrastructure and optimizing configurations for cost and performance.
Skills:
- Advanced technical knowledge of cloud computing, networking, and security frameworks.
- Expertise in designing enterprise-grade solutions with a focus on financial applications or capital markets.
