The ideal candidate will possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and have experience, whether fresh or up to 1-2 years, gained from one of the Big 4 accounting firms (PWC, KPMG, Deloitte, or A.F. Ferguson). The role is integral to ensuring financial compliance, enhancing operational efficiency, and assessing internal controls to mitigate risks. Key Responsibilities

  • Audit Planning: Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual audit plan, ensuring comprehensive coverage of financial operations.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks across various departments, helping to implement mitigation strategies that enhance compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports, outlining key findings, risks, and actionable recommendations to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Regularly review and verify that all company activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and support the implementation of initiatives for streamlining and improving operational processes to achieve greater efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with departments across the organization to resolve issues identified during audits and facilitate the implementation of corrective measures.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification required.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1-2 years of experience in internal auditing.
  • Training: Articles completed from one of the Big 4 Firms (PWC, KPMG, Deloitte, or A.F. Ferguson) is a must.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software.
    • Strong time management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
