HR Ways is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join a leading North American company specializing in school bus routing. The client company provides AI-based optimization and analytics tools to create efficient routing solutions for organizations. As an Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting financial operations, improving processes, generating insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive performance improvements.


Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Generate regular reports and insights on key financial metrics to guide strategic decision-making.
  • System Improvement: Assist in implementing new tools and optimizing current systems to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate existing processes, identify areas for investment and improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous enhancement of financial operations.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all financial processes are compliant with established guidelines and standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and customer experience teams to align on key project requirements and ensure smooth execution.
  • Tool and Process Familiarity: Quickly adapt to new tools and processes to effectively support and streamline financial operations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or similar operational roles, with a focus on improving operational efficiency.
  • Skills:
    • Attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
    • Proficiency in analytical tools and business intelligence software.
    • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.
    • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
    • Ability to work remotely and overlap with North American working hours (2-hour overlap between 9 PM – 11 PM Canadian time).
