House of Samrah is seeking a qualified Deputy Manager QA QC to join our team in Lahore. This full-time on-site role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage quality control and quality assurance processes, ensuring that the company’s products meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.

As the Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of product quality, managing audits, and implementing strategies to enhance product safety and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of quality management practices, especially within the FMCG industry, combined with strong leadership abilities and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Quality Control & Assurance
    • Oversee daily operations of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure that products meet established quality standards.
    • Develop and implement quality systems, policies, and procedures to maintain product quality.
    • Perform inspections, testing, and sampling on production batches to confirm product standards.
  2. Audit Management & Compliance
    • Manage and lead internal quality audits to assess product quality, system performance, and compliance with industry standards.
    • Ensure the business adheres to relevant regulatory guidelines and external audit requirements.
    • Coordinate with external agencies to prepare for audits and assessments.
  3. Training & Team Coordination
    • Train and mentor the quality team, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to execute QA/QC procedures effectively.
    • Communicate quality standards across all departments, encouraging best practices and continuous improvement.
  4. Problem-Solving & Reporting
    • Use strong analytical skills to identify quality issues and work with teams to resolve them swiftly and effectively.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports related to quality issues, improvements, and audit findings.
  5. Continuous Improvement
    • Implement corrective actions for any defects or issues, driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and quality systems.
    • Actively recommend quality improvements and ensure that process changes align with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in Quality Control and Quality Assurance in the FMCG industry or manufacturing sector.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory standards for product safety, quality testing, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in quality audits and preparing for both internal and external audits.
  • Experience with quality certifications, such as ISO or Six Sigma certifications, is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across departments to achieve quality goals.
  • Proven track record in managing quality processes and teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

  • Certifications like Six Sigma, ISO 9001 are a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of FMCG product quality regulations and compliance standards is preferred.
