We are looking to hire a Diagnostic Radiologist on a part-time, contract basis. As a Diagnostic Radiologist, you will be responsible for performing medical imaging procedures, interpreting results, and providing essential diagnostic information to healthcare providers, contributing to patient care.
Responsibilities
As a Diagnostic Radiologist, your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting Medical Imaging Procedures: Performing a wide range of imaging techniques, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and Ultrasounds.
- Interpreting Diagnostic Results: Analyzing the images produced from medical imaging devices and providing accurate diagnoses to assist healthcare providers in treatment decisions.
- Patient Care Collaboration: Working closely with doctors, nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely patient diagnosis and care.
- Expertise in Mammography & Nuclear Medicine: Specializing in mammography procedures and utilizing nuclear medicine technology when required.
- Providing Consultations: Discussing results with other healthcare providers and, when needed, with patients to ensure clear understanding of diagnosis.
- Maintaining Professional Standards: Ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and medical ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Diagnostic Radiologist position will possess:
- A medical degree with specialization in Radiology.
- Board certification in Radiology.
- Strong expertise in Nuclear Medicine and medical imaging techniques.
- Proven experience in mammography and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and technical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration within a healthcare team.
- Ability to remain focused and deliver accurate diagnostic information under pressure.
