The Business Development Manager at Helfertech will play a key role in the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing partnerships, and driving strategic initiatives. This role involves creating and executing plans to expand Helfertech’s market presence and drive sales, building lasting relationships with clients, and delivering solutions aligned with client needs and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify New Business Opportunities: Utilize market research, networking, and lead generation techniques to uncover new prospects.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both potential and current clients, acting as a trusted point of contact.
- Solution Proposals: Understand client needs and propose tailored software solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company’s market expansion.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with internal teams, such as product development and marketing, to ensure the delivery of effective and client-focused solutions.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, focusing on building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with clients.
- Risk and Benefit Assessment: Identify the risks, benefits, and business impacts of proposed solutions.
- Project Estimation: Estimate project costs and outline potential business savings for clients.
- Solution Alignment: Ensure all solutions proposed align with Helfertech’s strategic goals and technical capabilities.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create business requirement documents, and prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.
- Flexibility: Be willing to work odd hours, especially when required for urgent business needs.
Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, especially within the software industry.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven track record in business development or sales, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong understanding of market trends, business dynamics, and competitive analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to contribute to the development of business strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams, understanding their roles and utilizing their expertise to close deals.
- Proficiency in tools like CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
