In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear and engaging product manuals, guides, and documentation to improve user experience and support customer success. Responsibilities
As a WordPress Technical Document Writer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing Documentation: Create product manuals, how-to guides, troubleshooting articles, website help sections, and other technical content to help users understand and effectively use WordPress products.
  • Simplifying Complex Information: Break down complex WordPress concepts into simple, understandable instructions, using both text and images.
  • Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with product, development, and marketing teams to ensure documentation is accurate and aligned with the company’s products and services.
  • User-Centered Approach: Focus on producing clear, user-friendly documentation that improves product usability and customer success.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • WordPress Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with WordPress, including knowledge of themes, plugins, Gutenberg, WooCommerce, Elementor, and caching plugins.
  • Technical Writing Skills: Proven experience writing clear, concise, and engaging technical content such as manuals, guides, and documentation.
  • Strong English Writing Skills: Your written English should be precise, easy to read, and error-free.
  • Experience in WordPress Site Creation: You should have experience building WordPress sites, either for personal or professional use.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Familiarity with troubleshooting common WordPress issues and the ability to make instructions simple to follow.
  • Experience in WordPress Community: Active participation in the WordPress community is a plus.
  • Commitment: Willingness to commit to a 40-hour work week.
