As the Social Media Executive, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day activities of our social media platforms, driving brand awareness, enhancing engagement, and customer acquisition. You’ll implement social media strategies while working in collaboration with the marketing, content, and support teams. Your ability to optimize campaigns using data-driven insights will be crucial in ensuring our online presence reflects our global brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
- Oversee the day-to-day management of social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Create, plan, and implement content calendars to ensure consistent and engaging posts aligned with the brand’s voice.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across platforms promptly and professionally.
- Stay current with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices, applying them to optimize content and engagement strategies.
Social Media Campaigns
- Assist in the execution of social media campaigns (paid and organic).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, strategize, and allocate budgets for campaigns.
- Analyze performance metrics to offer data-driven recommendations for campaign optimization.
- Perform A/B testing on different creatives, ad messaging, and targeting to maximize effectiveness.
Social Media Analytics & Reporting
- Use platforms such as Meta Business Suite and Sprinklr to track metrics such as engagement, impressions, reach, and click-through rates.
- Generate regular performance reports and provide actionable insights for content and campaign improvement.
- Monitor competitors’ social media strategies and industry trends, advising the team on emerging opportunities.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, design, content, and customer support teams to ensure social media strategies align with larger marketing goals.
- Contribute to integrated campaigns, highlighting social media efforts in broader marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with customer support to address customer queries and feedback shared on social media platforms.
Industry Trend Awareness
- Keep up with the latest trends, platforms, and emerging technologies in social media and the FMCG/E-commerce sectors.
- Leverage new tools, features, and social media networks to drive engagement and brand growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Proven experience in social media management within the FMCG and E-commerce industries is required.
- Social Media Expertise: Familiarity with managing a range of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Analytics Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tools like Meta Business Suite and Sprinklr to track and analyze KPIs, such as reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Creative Skills: Strong communication and creative skills in crafting compelling content that resonates with the target audience.
- Data-driven: Ability to interpret social media performance data and translate it into actionable insights for campaign optimization.
- Problem Solving: Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Shift Requirement: Ability to work Canadian hours (from 5 PM to 1 AM PK Time).
