LOHAR Orthopedic Instrument, a leader in providing high-quality surgical orthopedic spine instruments, is seeking a qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon to join their medical team. This position is ideal for a highly skilled professional with expertise in surgical procedures and orthopedic care, especially those related to spine health. As part of the team, the successful candidate will perform a variety of orthopedic surgeries, working to ensure patient safety and the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Consultation: Diagnose and evaluate patients with orthopedic conditions, especially related to the spine.
- Orthopedic Surgeries: Perform various types of surgical procedures, focusing on orthopedic spine surgery, to treat injuries, deformities, and other conditions of the musculoskeletal system.
- Pre- and Post-operative Care: Provide comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after surgery, including follow-up visits to ensure proper recovery.
- Collaborate with Medical Team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, nurses, and assistants, to plan and deliver the best patient outcomes.
- Patient Education: Inform patients about surgical options, risks, and recovery processes, ensuring they are well-prepared for procedures and post-surgical care.
- Maintain Detailed Records: Keep thorough documentation of surgeries performed, patient medical histories, and treatment plans to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with medical standards.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices in orthopedic care.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) degree, followed by relevant specialization in orthopedics.
- Experience: A minimum of 1+ year(s) of experience as an Orthopaedic Surgeon or as a healthcare provider in a relevant medical field.
- Surgical Skills: Extensive knowledge and practical experience in performing orthopedic surgeries, particularly spine-related procedures.
- Clinical Expertise: Strong diagnostic skills, ability to interpret medical imaging, and effective patient assessment and treatment planning.
- Licensing: Valid medical license in Pakistan, with the ability to perform surgeries in a recognized medical institution.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex medical issues in simple terms, providing clear guidance to patients and their families.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, contributing to optimal patient outcomes.
