Toor and Travels is looking for a passionate and skilled Travel Agent to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
As a Travel Agent, you will:
- Collaborate with clients to craft personalized travel itineraries based on their preferences, budget, and specific needs.
- Coordinate transportation, reservations, and accommodation bookings for clients, ensuring every detail of the itinerary is arranged.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tourism providers such as hotels, transportation companies, and tour operators.
- Ensure clients understand foreign and domestic travel requirements, including necessary visas, vaccinations, and other documentation.
- Stay updated on current travel trends and news to provide the best advice and relevant travel packages.
- Assist clients in making last-minute changes to itineraries, managing cancellations or adjustments promptly.
- Provide top-notch customer service, addressing any concerns and managing expectations around trips.
- Advise clients on popular vacation spots, cultural events, and other points of interest.
- Handle customer inquiries via calls, emails, and in-person consultations.
Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Strong communication and sales skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and providers.
- Familiarity with travel trends, including top destinations and activities.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks and client needs.
- Time management capabilities to meet deadlines and ensure itineraries are designed in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of travel documentation requirements such as passport, visa regulations, vaccinations, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service experience, with a focus on problem-solving and client satisfaction.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Background in hospitality or tourism is an advantage.
- Patience and ability to deal with unforeseen travel disruptions in a calm and professional manner.
