We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team in Lahore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge testing projects for desktop, web, and mobile applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through effective test automation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript) and Appium.
- Implement and manage QA automation processes to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform manual testing where required, ensuring comprehensive coverage of software functionalities.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, report, and resolve defects.
- Leverage BDD and Page Object Model (POM) frameworks for efficient test automation.
- Ensure seamless integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Utilize Agile tools like Jira for task management and progress tracking.
- Conduct API testing as needed, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in automation testing for web and mobile applications.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Cypress and Appium.
- Familiarity with BDD and Page Object Model (POM) frameworks.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and processes.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
- API testing experience is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
