As a Community Engagement Specialist, you’ll contribute to cultivating valuable relationships, encouraging healthy discussions, and helping align the group’s content with our organizational goals. Key Responsibilities
1. Group Management
- Regularly monitor and manage LinkedIn groups to ensure they remain active, engaging, and aligned with the company’s objectives.
2. Member Approval
- Review and approve member requests, following predefined categories and guidelines to ensure the group maintains quality and relevance.
3. Content Review
- Approve or reject articles and posts within the group, ensuring all content aligns with the group’s standards and objectives.
4. Article Writing
- Write or coordinate relevant articles that foster conversations and engagement within the group, contributing to the group’s knowledge-sharing initiatives.
5. Community Engagement
- Actively promote healthy conversations, discussions, and peer-to-peer interactions that are in line with group and company values.
6. Compliance & Moderation
- Enforce group policies and moderate group discussions to ensure compliance and a professional environment at all times.
7. Collaboration
- Work with internal teams, such as marketing and HR, to align group content with the broader organizational objectives.
8. Reporting
- Generate performance reports of group activity, engagement rates, and member demographics, contributing to ongoing improvements and group strategies.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Experience: Proven experience in managing LinkedIn groups or other social media groups (Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
- Writing Skills: Strong content creation experience with an eye for writing engaging and relevant articles.
- Skills: Ability to review and moderate content submissions while maintaining group standards and tone.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Tools Familiarity: Understanding of LinkedIn’s group moderation tools and best practices.
