We are looking for a UK Student Visa Counsellor to join our team at FitMatch Consulting Group. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the UK student visa application process, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires someone who can guide students throughout the visa process, maintain strong relationships with industry agents, and provide exceptional support to students and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Student Visa Guidance
- Offer end-to-end counseling for student visa applications, including documentation, submission, and follow-up processes.
- Provide expert advice on the UK’s student visa requirements, guiding students through necessary steps.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on visa policies for various destinations, especially the UK.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain professional relationships with agents, assisting in driving student recruitment and referrals.
- Track and manage applications, ensuring all required documentation is received and deadlines met.
- Regularly follow up with students, agents, and external stakeholders to address any questions or concerns.
Counseling & Support
- Advise students and families about study options, visa procedures, financial requirements, and timelines for visa approval.
- Assist students in preparing for interviews and the visa application process.
Event Participation
- Organize and participate in student seminars, webinars, education fairs, and workshops to engage prospective students.
- Build a strong market presence and represent the company effectively in such events.
Record Keeping & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of applications and student cases.
- Ensure proper reporting of student progress, agent referrals, and any visa issues.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Business, or International Relations.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK student visa application process.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Student Visa Counselor or in a similar role.
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with industry agents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a target-driven and fast-paced work environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools for managing student and agent data.
- Experience organizing and conducting seminars, workshops, or webinars.
- Knowledge of education systems in international study destinations.
