Chalk Talk HR & OD Consulting, a prominent consulting firm working with a leading Sialkot-based sports manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Information Technology Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on IT support, technical troubleshooting, and ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems and network infrastructure. The role is based at the company’s facility located at Shahab Pura, Sialkot. Join our team and contribute to the technology operations that power this renowned sports manufacturer.


Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Provide day-to-day IT support, resolve hardware/software issues, and assist employees with troubleshooting technical problems.
  • Desktop Computer Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, updates, and ensure optimal performance of desktop and laptop systems.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and network performance.
  • Help Desk Support: Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner, resolving IT-related queries and issues efficiently.
  • Microsoft Server & Windows Support: Manage server setups, provide troubleshooting for Microsoft Server environments, and offer Windows support for all users.
  • Hardware and Software Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications and hardware devices in use across the company.
  • Database & Reporting: Use Visual Basic 6, Vb.net, Microsoft Access, and Crystal Reports for supporting company databases and generating reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members to enhance the overall IT infrastructure, and suggest areas of improvement where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, particularly in desktop support, networking, and help desk services.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Server, Networking, Windows Support.
    • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
    • Experience with Visual Basic 6, Vb.net, Microsoft Access, and Crystal Reports.
    • General knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of design software is a plus (discuss during the interview).
