Now, we are looking to add a Senior Demand Planner to our team in Lahore to take ownership of the demand planning process, focusing on phone cases and screen protectors. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our operations while driving supply chain efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead S&OP Forecasting: Oversee the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle for phone cases and screen protectors, ensuring timely and accurate forecasting with key stakeholders.
  • Demand and Supply Alignment: Collaborate with the Commercial team to align demand forecasts with new product developments (NPD) and promotional activities.
  • Efficient Freight Management: Maximize cost-effective freight options (e.g., sea freight over air freight) within the assigned product categories.
  • SKU Rationalization: Oversee the annual SKU rationalization process to ensure that product assortments are optimized and aligned with market needs.
  • 12-Month Planning: Work with the China Operations team to produce a rolling 12-month forecast, supporting seamless supply chain operations.
  • Inventory Optimization: Maintain optimal stock levels for phone cases and screen protectors, ensuring availability while preventing overstock and stockouts.
  • S&OP Meeting Representation: Actively participate in S&OP meetings, presenting updates on forecast accuracy, stock levels, and performance.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor actual versus forecasted demand and analyze any discrepancies, adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Reporting: Generate and review weekly reports to track performance metrics such as inventory levels, overstock/understock situations, and order placements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek ways to improve forecasting accuracy and operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in demand planning or forecasting, especially within a D2C (Direct to Consumer) or global business environment.
    • Strong understanding of S&OP principles and experience working with international stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with inventory management systems and demand planning tools (ERP systems, Excel, PowerQuery, etc.).
  • Skills:
    • Advanced analytical and numerical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with experience using PowerQuery for reporting and analysis.
    • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across global teams.
    • Ability to make data-driven decisions and work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Highly organized and adaptable, capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
