Key Responsibilities

As an AWS Engineer at micro1, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage AWS Resources: Efficiently manage and maintain AWS resources (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Design & Implement Cloud Solutions: Architect scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions utilizing AWS services.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and delivering cloud-based solutions that meet business needs.
  • Monitor and Optimize Infrastructure: Continuously monitor AWS infrastructure performance, optimizing it for cost reduction and performance enhancements.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure all AWS environments comply with industry standards and organizational security policies.
  • Automation Scripting: Develop automation scripts using AWS Lambda to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer technical support and guidance to other teams, helping them leverage AWS solutions effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal AWS Engineer candidate will have:

  • AWS Expertise: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with key AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, and more.
  • Experience in AWS Infrastructure Management: Proven track record in managing and maintaining AWS environments, ensuring scalability, high availability, and security.
  • Cloud Solution Design: Ability to design and deploy scalable and cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS services.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate in a remote team environment and explain complex cloud concepts.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot AWS infrastructure issues and propose solutions swiftly and effectively.
  • Remote Work Competence: Ability to work efficiently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate across different geographies.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
