As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in automating deployment processes, optimizing infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability. This remote position offers an opportunity to work on innovative solutions with trusted industry partners, such as Deel, Immutable, O’Gara, and LegalSoft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Streamline and automate deployment processes to enhance software delivery.
  • Monitor System Health: Ensure high availability and reliability of services, and resolve issues promptly to maintain optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with Developers: Work alongside developers to enhance system performance, scalability, and security, optimizing workflows across teams.
  • Manage Containerized Applications: Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • On-call Support: Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems and respond to critical incidents in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • CI/CD Proficiency: Expertise in continuous integration and continuous deployment practices and tools to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Container Management: Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration, ensuring smooth and scalable application deployment.
  • System Monitoring: Solid understanding of monitoring and alerting frameworks for proactive management of infrastructure and systems.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively collaborate in a remote setting.
  • Independent Work Ethic: Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and apply systematic problem-solving approaches to resolve operational challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud Expertise: Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Infrastructure as Code Tools: Familiarity with tools like Terraform or Ansible for automated infrastructure provisioning.
  • Network Security: Knowledge of network security practices and protocols to help ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
