Sundar STEM School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced O Level Math Teacher to join our esteemed institution. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our fully residential campus, located in Sundar, 31 km from Lahore. Key Responsibilities
As the O Level Math Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Lesson Planning: Develop comprehensive lesson plans that align with the O Level mathematics curriculum, ensuring an engaging and stimulating educational experience.
- Teaching: Deliver interactive and effective mathematics lessons that inspire students and help them achieve their academic goals.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate in the development and continual improvement of the mathematics curriculum, ensuring that the school’s educational standards remain rigorous and up to date.
- Student Assessment: Regularly assess students’ progress through quizzes, assignments, and tests, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Student Support: Provide additional support to students who may need help understanding difficult concepts and foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Classroom Management: Ensure a positive, disciplined, and motivating classroom environment that promotes active learning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to integrate STEM education initiatives across various subjects.
- Extracurricular Participation: Encourage student involvement in extracurricular activities and projects that enhance their learning experience in mathematics and STEM fields.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching Experience: Proven experience teaching mathematics at the O Level or similar educational levels.
- Qualified Teacher Certification: Formal teaching certification in mathematics is required.
- STEM Passion: A genuine passion for mathematics education and a commitment to fostering intellectual curiosity in students.
- Strong Curriculum Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the O Level Mathematics curriculum and exam preparation.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
