HR Force Int. is seeking an experienced and passionate Access Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
As the Access Control Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Identity and Access Management (IAM):
- Design, implement, and maintain robust IAM systems for managing employee and contractor identities and access.
- Oversee the identity lifecycle, ensuring proper provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning of access credentials across the organization.
- Administer, monitor, and maintain access control for various cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) tools to ensure seamless and secure access across the organization’s applications.
- Security Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2).
- Conduct regular audits of IAM systems, addressing security gaps and ensuring compliance with security frameworks and organizational policies.
- Incident Response:
- Investigate unauthorized access attempts and system breaches, documenting and responding effectively to security incidents.
- Implement corrective action plans to mitigate risks and prevent future security issues.
- User and Role Management:
- Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure appropriate access based on users’ job functions.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of access logs, user permissions, and role definitions.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with IT, DevOps, and security teams to ensure smooth integration of IAM systems with other organizational platforms.
- Provide training and technical support to employees, helping them understand IAM policies and best practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for IAM-related issues and provide timely support when required.
- System Maintenance and Reporting:
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades to IAM systems to ensure reliable and secure operation.
- Generate detailed reports on system performance, access activities, and security incidents for management review.
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields (Preferred).
Experience:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in IAM or a related cybersecurity role.
- Hands-on experience with IAM tools and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure AD, GCP IAM).
- Experience implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models and managing server access.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of IAM best practices, security protocols, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Proficiency with SSO tools and identity federation platforms (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity, or similar).
- Familiarity with auditing, monitoring tools, and access logging systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze complex security issues.
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
- Physical Security Professional (PSP)
- Other security-related certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+)
