Claim is on a mission to disrupt the rewards ecosystem. Our innovative brand discovery app empowers users to save money by trying new brands while connecting with friends. With substantial growth and a highly engaged user base, we’ve already raised $20M to fuel this growth, and we’re seeking a passionate UX/UI Designer to join our remote team. As a part of our design team, you’ll create compelling and intuitive user flows that will directly impact the success of our app. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled designer to help define user-centric features for a rapidly growing product in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design New User Experiences: Lead the design of key elements of the Claim app, including the development of new user flows, onboarding processes, and feature designs.
  • Improve UX/UI: Enhance and simplify key areas of the app to improve clarity and the overall user experience, driving consumer engagement and product value.
  • Conduct User Testing: Gather insights through research and user testing to inform design decisions, ensuring the end product delivers seamless experiences that users love.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine user stories, conceptual designs, and prototypes.
  • Create and Refine Prototypes: Develop, iterate, and present interactive prototypes using design tools like Figma, to demonstrate interaction and user flow.
  • Design Systems Contribution: Contribute to the creation and refinement of a cohesive design system for Claim’s app to maintain consistency across features and functionality.
  • Fast Delivery and Iteration: Actively participate in a test-and-learn environment, iterating quickly and adjusting designs to meet user needs and business goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in building and designing digital products with a strong focus on UI design for apps.
  • Figma Expertise: Proficient in Figma and able to create detailed UX/UI flows, wireframes, prototypes, and contribute to developing a unified design system.
  • User-Centered: Deep understanding of user-centered design and a track record of creating intuitive, user-friendly designs.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to work autonomously, handle ambiguity, and turn complex design challenges into actionable, user-centric solutions.
  • Bonus: Previous experience with consumer apps and growth-driven design strategies are a plus.
  • Portfolio: Please provide a portfolio showcasing your UX/UI work, with examples that demonstrate your design process and user-centered solutions.
