DURUS INDUSTRIES Pvt Ltd. is a leading innovator in the sportswear and performance apparel industry. We are currently seeking a talented CLO 3D Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and prototyping high-performance sportswear apparel for athletes and teams globally. This role provides flexibility, with the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site, and requires a combination of creativity, technical expertise, and passion for performance-driven design.
Responsibilities
As the CLO 3D Designer for sportswear apparel, you will be expected to:
- Design and Prototype: Create detailed, realistic 3D prototypes of sportswear apparel using CLO 3D software, ensuring high quality and precision in all digital designs.
- Garment Innovation: Develop innovative patterns, fabric draping, and garment fits that elevate the design while enhancing functionality for athletes and teams.
- Material Experimentation: Work with various fabrics, textures, and materials to experiment with new sportswear designs while staying within brand guidelines.
- Technical Integration: Integrate essential technical specifications such as seams, stitches, trims, and embellishments to produce accurate and high-performing 3D designs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to ensure seamless transitions from digital designs to physical samples, meeting project timelines.
- Sustainability Focus: Advocate for sustainable design by reducing physical sampling through virtual prototyping and embracing eco-friendly materials and design practices.
- Trend Inspiration: Contribute creative, trend-driven ideas for cutting-edge sportswear designs that combine function and aesthetics, tailored to athletic performance needs.
- Communication & Presentations: Effectively present and communicate design ideas with internal teams and stakeholders, utilizing visual presentations and interactive renderings for better understanding and feedback.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a CLO 3D Designer, particularly with sportswear or performance apparel, is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern-making, and technical design for activewear.
- Textile Expertise: Knowledge of fabrics and textile properties, specifically in relation to activewear and performance apparel.
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in CLO 3D as well as complementary software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools for design and visualization.
- Creativity and Innovation: Ability to generate creative ideas for modern sportswear, pushing the boundaries of design with a focus on performance, comfort, and aesthetics.
- Independent Work Style: Strong ability to work independently and efficiently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Passion: A passion for sportswear design and athletic culture is a plus!
