Social Media Coordinator

Nexius is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our social media presence, crafting engaging content, managing multiple social media accounts, and using your graphic design and video editing skills to produce visually compelling posts. As an integral part of our marketing team, you will help elevate our brand image and engage with our target audience on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.


Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research:
    Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends to identify opportunities for optimizing our social media presence and strategies.
  • Campaign Development and Execution:
    Plan and implement social media campaigns, events, and activities that promote Nexius’ culture and align with company objectives.
  • Content Creation and Design:
    Create high-quality, engaging content (copy, visuals, videos) for multiple platforms using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and more. Ensure that all content aligns with our brand’s voice.
  • Social Media Account Management:
    Schedule, publish, and manage content across all social media platforms. Monitor comments, messages, and inquiries and respond promptly.
  • Analytics and Insights:
    Track social media metrics and campaign performance to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, making data-driven adjustments to improve future campaigns.
  • Video Production and Editing:
    Produce and edit engaging videos for social media platforms using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Collaborate with the creative team on video concepts, storyboarding, and scripts.
  • Stay Updated with Trends:
    Keep up with emerging trends, features, and platforms to enhance our social media presence and maintain an edge over competitors.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in social media management or a similar role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in graphic design tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.
    • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Other Attributes: Ability to work both independently and within a team. Passion for staying up-to-date with social media trends.
