Key Responsibilities
- Student Counseling: Engage with students to understand their academic goals, career aspirations, and preferences, providing tailored advice on universities, programs, and locations.
- Career Guidance: Offer clear, empathetic, and professional advice to guide students in choosing the most suitable educational path and career trajectory.
- Public Speaking & Workshops: Conduct informative sessions and seminars, sharing valuable insights into study abroad options and the application process.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted guide throughout the application and decision-making process.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Work alongside colleagues, contributing to team success through knowledge sharing and support.
- Personal Development: Continuously improve communication, counseling, and public speaking skills through on-the-job training, professional workshops, and coaching.
- Administrative Tasks: Provide clients with accurate information on visa processes, university requirements, and application timelines.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree or professional qualification is preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in educational consultancy, student counseling, or a related field. Fresh graduates with a passion for education are also encouraged to apply.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, relatable way.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build trust and develop relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills with an attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in advice and guidance provided.
- Digital Literacy: Working knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with using digital tools for communication and documentation is a plus.
- Preferred Experience: Knowledge of the study abroad process, foreign education systems, and the student counseling process is highly beneficial.
