We are looking for skilled Full Stack Developers with expertise in Node.js/Nest.js and React.js/Next.js to help us elevate our digital offerings. Candidates experienced in travel APIs and tools used in the travel industry (hotels, car rentals, ferry booking) will be preferred and eligible for package negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Developer, your tasks will include:
- Developing, maintaining, and optimizing server-side logic and backend systems using Node.js and frameworks like Nest.js or Fastify.
- Enhancing and maintaining UI/UX components using modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Redux, or AngularJS.
- Designing and implementing custom APIs, integrating third-party APIs, and ensuring smooth interoperability.
- Contributing to a microservices architecture and ensuring efficient system performance.
- Utilizing tools like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or NATS to handle message queues and AMQPs effectively.
- Managing database technologies like MongoDB or Postgres SQL to ensure robust data storage solutions.
- Collaborating with a global team to deliver innovative travel solutions and experiences.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Development Expertise:
- Proficiency in Node.js, Nest.js, and related web frameworks for backend development.
- Mastery of frontend technologies: React.js, Next.js, Redux, AngularJS, etc.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and backend systems optimization.
- Expertise in APIs: REST, SOAP, and travel-specific APIs.
- Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
- Version control: Knowledge of Git.
- Preferred Experience: Prior exposure to travel APIs or tools in hotel/car rental/ferry booking systems is highly recommended.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a global team.
