Key Responsibilities

  • Resume Writing & Editing: Format, edit, and rewrite resumes to meet high standards of quality. You’ll craft custom resumes from scratch based on client-provided information, ensuring they meet industry-specific requirements.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Use detailed client insights to create resumes that accurately reflect qualifications and match specific job objectives.
  • Content Optimization: Create resumes free of grammatical mistakes, typos, and errors. Use dynamic action verbs and impactful phrases to make the content powerful and compelling.
  • Efficiency Targets: Complete two resume drafts per shift (from 1 pm to 10 pm) while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Write resumes in a clear, engaging manner that performs well in computer-based Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), while also catching the attention of hiring managers with a quick scan.
  • LinkedIn Optimization: Work on refining LinkedIn profiles and related documents to complement the client’s resume.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in resume writing, editing, or a similar content-writing role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, and writing style.
    • Familiarity with job market trends and ATS systems.
    • Proficiency in researching job descriptions and aligning resumes to those specific needs.
  • Specific Methodology: Experience with WHO Method and STAR Approach will be an added advantage.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of proficiency in tailoring content that reflects client achievements, using accurate terminology, and creating an engaging structure.
  • Education: Degree in English, Communications, or related field is a plus but not required. Experience and results matter most.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: PKR 80,000 – 120,000, depending on skills and experience.
  • Training: An initial 30-day training period with a salary of 45,000 PKR (for fresh candidates).
  • Work Hours: Full-time role with a working shift of 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm from Tuesday to Sunday (with Sunday as a half-day and Mondays off).
  • Paid Leave: Paid time off (details to be discussed during the interview).
  • Performance-Based Salary Negotiations: For Senior Resume Writers with expertise in the WHO Method and STAR approach, salary is negotiable.
