We have partnered with our client, a leading digital health marketplace, to hire a Freelance Market & Data Insights Consultant. This consultant will be instrumental in driving the company’s market research strategies and data insights to help shape consumer health behaviors and contribute to the overall mission of revolutionizing healthcare through technology.

The ideal candidate will combine expertise in market research with a deep understanding of healthcare to create insightful research frameworks that will become critical tools in shaping products and strategies in emerging markets.


Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Identify and package high-value consumer insights, aiming to generate $150K+ in new revenue by helping customers better understand their target markets’ health knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors.
  • Customer Retention: Achieve 25%+ customer retention by developing repeatable, actionable research frameworks that provide unique insights.
  • Accelerate Time-to-Insight: Create standardized yet customizable research methodologies to enable faster insights and provide actionable data in 50% less time for customers.
  • Insights-to-Action: Collaborate with the Analytics and Health Journeys teams to convert qualitative insights into actionable outcomes, achieving a 75% conversion rate of insights to actionable strategies.
  • Research Frameworks: Design and implement comprehensive market research frameworks focused on uncovering patterns in health-seeking behaviors in emerging markets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present research findings to senior stakeholders and work closely with both external clients and internal teams to align on goals and expectations.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in market research, consumer insights, or related fields, with a strong emphasis on healthcare or behavioral research.
  • Methodologies: Expertise in qualitative research methods, including in-depth interviews, focus groups, and ethnographic studies.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to translate research findings into commercially viable products or strategies.
  • Project Management: Hands-on experience managing end-to-end market research projects, especially in emerging markets.
  • Storytelling: Strong ability to synthesize and present research findings in a compelling, easy-to-understand way for senior stakeholders.
  • Work Environment: Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and dynamic environment.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to and engaging with senior leadership.
  • Self-motivation: Demonstrated capability to work independently and manage projects without direct supervision.
