As part of our expansion, we are looking for a WordPress Developer (Internship) to join our dynamic team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing both the front-end and back-end of WordPress websites, working closely with a skilled team to create beautiful, user-friendly sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Design and Development: Design and implement attractive, functional WordPress websites, including both front-end and back-end development.
- Theme and Plugin Customization: Work with WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring proper customization to meet the client’s needs.
- Web Integration: Integrate website features and functionalities, ensuring smooth site operations.
- Security & Performance: Apply security updates, conduct regular performance tests, and troubleshoot content issues.
- Client Interaction: Meet with clients to discuss their website design and functionality preferences.
- Training and Support: Provide WordPress training to clients and offer technical support as needed.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to ensure project success.
- Ongoing Monitoring: Continuously monitor live website performance to ensure consistent site functionality and optimization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with WooCommerce design and implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of PHP, REST APIs, and back-end web development.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive web design.
- Experience with WordPress plugin and theme customization.
- Familiarity with Git, Mercurial, and SVN for code versioning.
- Competence with debugging tools like Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Independent Work: Ability to work independently and remotely while meeting project deadlines.

- Compensation: Monthly stipend of 20,000 PKR.
- Working Hours: 10 AM to 7 PM (Pakistan time), Monday through Friday.
