Junior DevOps Engineer

Eprecisio Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with 6 months to 1 year of experience in DevOps who are eager to expand their knowledge and skills in a supportive, remote-first environment. As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to maintaining and improving cloud-based infrastructure, deploying software, automating systems, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. If you are passionate about learning and growing in DevOps, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Assist in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based systems and applications.
• CI/CD Pipeline Maintenance: Work with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth software delivery processes.
• Automation and Optimization: Automate routine tasks and optimize system performance to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with software engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment, performance, and systems.
• Cloud & Containers Exposure: Gain hands-on experience in cloud technologies like AWS, ECS, and Terraform, along with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in DevOps or a similar technical role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, etc.).
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
  • Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker, as well as orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, ECS, and Terraform.
• Soft Skills: Strong willingness to learn, the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment, and problem-solving skills.
