Magnatec Systems Private Limited is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Upwork Bidder with 3+ years of proven success in securing projects on freelance platforms, especially Upwork. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in business development and sales and have a deep understanding of the tech industry. The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying suitable projects, crafting compelling proposals, and helping the company secure new clients through online freelance platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Identification:
Actively search for relevant projects on Upwork that align with the company’s service offerings and expertise in tech development (including stacks like .NET, React JS, Angular JS, React Native). - Proposal Writing & Client Outreach:
Craft clear, persuasive, and customized proposals to attract potential clients, ensuring they align with project requirements and company expertise. - Profile Maintenance:
Keep an up-to-date Upwork profile, showcasing relevant skills, previous projects, and portfolio items to maximize the company’s visibility and attract quality leads. - Client Communication:
Communicate effectively with clients, discussing project needs, suggesting appropriate solutions, and understanding the scope of each project. - Follow-Up & Relationship Management:
Follow up on submitted proposals, maintaining consistent communication with clients to ensure positive engagement throughout the bidding process. - Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams to better understand the company’s service offerings and ensure proposals reflect our capabilities accurately. - Meet or Exceed Targets:
Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets for project acquisition and client engagement. - Stay Updated:
Monitor changes in Upwork‘s platform policies, bidding strategies, and best practices to maximize visibility and bid success rates.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Upwork bidding.
- Previous experience in online software sales and project acquisition.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and craft tailored proposals.
- Solid knowledge of Upwork’s bidding process and platform features.
- Basic understanding of .NET, React JS, Angular JS, React Native.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related field.
- Work Style:
