Newage Cables (Pvt.) Ltd., Pakistan’s largest cable manufacturer since 1956, is seeking a Dispatch Officer to join our team. The Dispatch Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of products, maintaining operational efficiency, and upholding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the dispatch and delivery of cables to customers, ensuring schedules are met.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and prepare necessary shipping documents.
- Monitor inventory levels and align dispatch schedules with inventory availability.
- Liaise with transport providers to arrange efficient delivery logistics.
- Handle customer inquiries related to dispatch and resolve any logistical issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline dispatch and delivery processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in dispatch operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dispatch operations, logistics, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of inventory management and shipping procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
- Certification or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
