ChatPandas is looking for a Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, results-oriented, and passionate about identifying new business opportunities and driving growth. You will be responsible for sourcing projects, especially on platforms like Upwork, and communicating effectively with clients to secure and manage contracts. The role requires a strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with sales tools.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Acquisition on Upwork:
    Identify, bid, and secure relevant projects on Upwork, ensuring proposals align with client needs.
  • Proposal Drafting & Customization:
    Draft persuasive and well-tailored proposals to attract clients, converting leads into business contracts.
  • Client & Technical Team Collaboration:
    Analyze client requirements and collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely responses.
  • Follow-ups & Client Relationship Management:
    Maintain ongoing communication with clients, ensuring smooth negotiations and long-term client relationships.
  • Lead Generation & Networking:
    Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify, reach out to prospects, and expand a professional network.
  • Market & Technology Awareness:
    Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies, and client needs, ensuring tailored proposals.
  • Record-Keeping:
    Maintain accurate records of bids, client interactions, and finalized deals to monitor progress and business success.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python, Java, HTML, CSS, or other relevant languages.
  • Communication Skills:
    Exceptional English communication skills (both written and spoken) for client interaction and proposal writing.
  • Experience:
    Proven experience in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator for lead generation and outreach.
    Previous experience as an Upwork bidder is strongly preferred.
  • Skills:
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities to meet targets and deadlines.
    Self-motivated, with a focus on results and achieving business goals.
