ZeeYoTech is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johar Town, Lahore. This full-time position is designed for candidates with 6 months to 1 year of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on blockchain-based applications. You will be responsible for ensuring our decentralized systems, smart contracts, and APIs maintain the highest quality standards, security, and performance levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual & Automated Testing: Design, write, and execute both manual and automated test cases for blockchain systems and decentralized applications (dApps).
- API & UI Automation Testing: Utilize Postman, Selenium, or Cypress for efficient API and UI automation testing.
- Functional & Regression Testing: Conduct functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for blockchain networks, smart contracts, and APIs.
- Performance Testing: Perform performance and scalability testing on blockchain nodes and services.
- Test Plans & Documentation: Write and maintain detailed test plans, test scripts, and QA documentation.
- Bug Reporting & Tracking: Identify, report, and track bugs and issues using tools such as Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla.
- Security & Performance Standards: Ensure blockchain systems adhere to industry standards for security and performance.
- Blockchain Trends & Methodologies: Stay updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technologies and QA methodologies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance, particularly with blockchain applications.
- QA Tools: Proficiency with QA tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Blockchain Knowledge: Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including nodes, consensus algorithms, and smart contracts.
- Testing Skills: Familiarity with API testing and end-to-end testing for decentralized systems.
- Technical Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities, and knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: QA certification is a plus but not required.
