Octathorn is a leading technology company specializing in designing and developing innovative products. We are looking for a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on, full-time position based in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan.
As a PCB Design Engineer, you will work on circuit design, analog designs, board layouts, and radio frequency (RF) designs. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring that our electronic products are designed and optimized to meet both performance and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Circuit Design:
- Design and develop electrical circuits for electronic products, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
- Focus on analog circuit design as well as other electronic components.
- Board Layout and RF Design:
- Create PCB layouts, ensuring that they are well-optimized for electrical integrity.
- Perform Radio Frequency (RF) Design work for relevant projects, ensuring excellent signal quality and power distribution.
- Prototyping & Testing:
- Work on designing and prototyping PCBs.
- Test and troubleshoot designs, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with other teams, such as R&D and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of designs into final products.
- Communicate effectively within the team to resolve issues promptly.
- Optimization & Refinement:
- Continuously optimize designs for cost and performance.
- Work on improving existing designs as necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in circuit design, analog design, electrical engineering, and PCB layout.
- Proficiency in Radio Frequency (RF) Design and optimizing designs for real-world applications.
- Experience in creating, testing, and optimizing circuit designs.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad).
- Excellent knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electronic circuit boards.
- A strong understanding of electrical and electronic components used in circuit design.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
