Drawphics is looking for a talented Web Content Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and high-quality content for various digital platforms, including websites, blogs, and social media. You should be passionate about storytelling and content creation, with the ability to write compelling, audience-targeted pieces while adhering to SEO best practices. Responsibilities

  • Content Creation:
    Produce high-quality written content for web pages, blogs, social media updates, articles, product descriptions, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • SEO Optimization:
    Apply SEO best practices in writing, including keyword research, creating SEO-friendly content, and optimizing existing material to improve search engine rankings.
  • Research:
    Conduct thorough research to create content that is accurate, well-informed, and insightful on industry-related topics.
  • Editing & Proofreading:
    Review and edit all content for clarity, grammar, style consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring the highest standard of writing.
  • Collaborative Content Strategy:
    Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to brainstorm and implement content strategies. Align editorial calendars and content production with overall company objectives.
  • Audience Engagement:
    Develop content that resonates with the target audience, driving engagement, interaction, and shares.
  • Stay Current:
    Keep up-to-date with industry trends, content marketing techniques, and content best practices to continuously improve the effectiveness of written materials.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or related fields.
  • Educational Background:
    Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong Writing Skills:
    Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with a portfolio showcasing published work across diverse platforms.
  • SEO Expertise:
    Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword research tools (such as SEMrush, Ahrefs), and how to integrate SEO into written content to improve rankings.
  • Research Skills:
    Ability to conduct comprehensive research on various topics, effectively synthesize information, and turn it into clear, engaging written material.
  • Communication:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time Management:
    Excellent organizational abilities, with experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is advantageous.
  • Adaptability:
    Ability to switch between writing styles and tones tailored to different platforms, audiences, and brand voice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in specific industries (e.g., technology, healthcare, finance) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with social media content strategies, promotion, and engagement tactics.
  • Experience using Google Analytics or other analytics tools to evaluate content performance.
