Responsibilities

As an HR and Admin Intern, you will be involved in several key tasks, including:

  • Database Management: Updating company databases with new employee contact details and employment information.
  • Recruitment Support: Screening resumes and application forms to identify potential candidates for open job positions.
  • Interview Coordination: Organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates and managing candidate communication.
  • Job Advertisements: Posting job vacancies on online job boards and social media platforms; removing listings once positions are filled.
  • Market Research: Assisting the HR team in gathering relevant market salary data for analysis.
  • Event Planning: Helping organize and execute company events and team-building activities.
  • Correspondence: Preparing and sending offer letters, rejection letters, and emails to candidates.
  • Onboarding Support: Assisting in the new hire orientation process to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Employee Inquiries: Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and related matters.
  • Administrative Tasks: Supporting the HR team with general administrative duties and preparing reports.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborating with the administrative officer and providing regular updates to the HR department.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • HRIS Knowledge: Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) is a plus, but not required.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on the specifics and produce accurate work.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
