We are looking for a skilled Python Django Developer to join our dynamic team at InvoZone. As a Python Django Developer, you will be responsible for developing scalable applications, optimizing backend systems, and contributing to the success of diverse projects. This role will involve collaborating with other team members and clients, ensuring the maintenance and functionality of applications while adhering to best practices in coding, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze Business Requirements: Understand and evaluate business requirements for each project.
- Estimate Tasks: Provide accurate estimates of the time and effort required to complete tasks.
- Write Code and Unit Tests: Develop high-quality, clean code and write unit tests to ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to build robust systems.
- Optimize Security and Performance: Tune your code to enhance system security and performance.
- Maintain Systems: Fix bugs and resolve any issues in existing systems to ensure long-term sustainability.
- Update Issue Tracking: Track tasks, issues, and projects using issue tracking software.
- Client Communication: Regularly update clients on progress, status, and feedback.
- Version Control: Manage and control versions of the codebase.
- Research and Implement New Technologies: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and incorporate them into ongoing projects.
- Upgrade Skills: Continuously improve and expand your skill set in relevant areas.
- Evaluate Candidates: Assist in the evaluation and hiring of new team members, as needed.
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in Python and Django development.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies and platforms.
- Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud services.
- Skilled in writing RESTful APIs and backend components.
- Solid understanding of security standards, practices, and compliance.
- Expertise in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and schemaless databases (MongoDB).
- Experience in creating optimized database structures.
- Ability to write unit tests and maintain a 90% minimum test coverage.
- Proficiency in GitHub, JIRA, and other collaborative tools.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
