We are seeking a dynamic and driven Import Operations / Sales Executive to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and a passion for providing exceptional client services. Responsibilities

As the Import Operations / Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing the entire import process and supporting the sales team in securing new business opportunities. Your key duties will include:

  • Client Coordination: Ensure seamless service delivery to clients by coordinating with both overseas and local companies.
  • Rate Negotiation: Negotiate competitive rates with overseas partners and local suppliers to enable the sales team to secure business.
  • Pricing Proposals: Create and send detailed pricing proposals to overseas partners, local customers, and internal teams to ensure all pricing is aligned with company policies and market standards.
  • Imports Management: Handle the complete cycle of Sea Freight and Air Freight imports, including documentation, coordination, and follow-up.
  • Timely Billing: Ensure all billing for assigned jobs is completed in a timely manner, maintaining accuracy in the invoicing process.
  • Export Documentation: Prepare export documents and submit them to the relevant carriers to facilitate efficient shipping processes.
  • Customer Service: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a diverse client portfolio through calls, emails, and follow-ups.
  • Upselling and Account Management: Perform various customer service activities including upselling, tracking shipments, and managing both new and existing accounts.
  • Problem Resolution: Take ownership of complaints and queries, proactively following through to resolution and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in import operations, sales, or related roles within the logistics or shipping industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Sea Freight, Air Freight, and global shipping processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with international and local stakeholders.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities to secure the best rates and conditions with clients and overseas partners.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail when handling pricing, documentation, and customer service inquiries.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks concurrently.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM and logistics management software (preferred).
