SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company, is seeking a Workday Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, the Workday Integration Specialist will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of Workday with other HR systems such as payroll, talent acquisition (SmartRecruiters), and talent management systems. This is a critical role that enhances the functionality and efficiency of SGS’s HR systems across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

As a Workday Integration Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Integration Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations with internal and external systems, ensuring smooth data flow between applications.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate these into clear and actionable technical specifications.
  • Issue Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues in a timely manner to maintain seamless HR operations.
  • Data Integrity & Audits: Perform regular audits to ensure data consistency and integrity across Workday and associated systems.
  • Workday Enhancements: Stay up-to-date with Workday’s new features and updates and leverage them to improve integration solutions.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, integration specifications, and reports.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with third-party vendors to support and improve system integrations, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
  • Custom Report Development: Create custom reports and data extracts as needed to support business and HR functions.
  • Technical Support & Training: Provide technical support to internal users and offer training to ensure they can effectively use integration tools and features.
  • Testing & Project Management: Participate in all phases of integration testing (unit, system, user acceptance), and assist in managing integration projects from planning to execution.
  • Project Status Updates: Provide consistent updates on integration projects to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Workday Integration Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Workday integrations (including Workday Studio, EIB, PECI).
  • HR Systems Knowledge: Experience with HR systems such as SmartRecruiters and payroll systems is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in integration technologies including XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, Web Services, and integration tools such as Workday Studio and EIB.
  • Middleware Experience: Experience with middleware platforms and ETL tools is an advantage.
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Excellent ability to diagnose and solve complex integration issues.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse team.
  • Languages: Good English proficiency required.
  • Workday Certification: Certifications in Workday Integration are a plus but not mandatory.
