Key Responsibilities

  • WordPress Theme and Plugin Development: Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Frontend Development: Convert Figma designs into fully functional, pixel-perfect HTML/CSS layouts that are responsive across devices.
  • E-Commerce Solutions: Implement and customize WooCommerce for e-commerce websites, ensuring smooth online shopping experiences.
  • API Integration: Develop and integrate third-party APIs (including Google APIs and REST APIs) to extend functionality and improve website capabilities.
  • Custom Widgets & Modules: Create and manage custom widgets and modules for enhancing site features.
  • Website Optimization: Ensure optimal website performance by implementing best practices for speed optimization and resolving any performance issues.
  • Website Security: Proactively maintain WordPress website security by following best security practices.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Address technical issues quickly and efficiently to maintain seamless website functionality.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers and other developers to ensure smooth execution of projects from concept to completion.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience working with WordPress, including theme and plugin development/customization.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with WooCommerce for building and customizing e-commerce sites.
  • Front-End Skills: Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, SCSS, and JQuery.
  • Design-to-Development: Ability to convert Figma designs into fully responsive and pixel-perfect web layouts.
  • API Knowledge: Proficiency in API integration, especially REST API development.
  • Website Optimization and Security: Understanding of best practices for WordPress security and speed optimization to ensure superior performance.
  • Custom Development: Experience in developing custom widgets, modules, and advanced functionality.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
