Key Responsibilities
As an SEO Specialist, your primary duties will include:
- SEO Strategy Development and Implementation:
- Develop and execute tailored SEO strategies for both the company’s website and social media platforms.
- Identify opportunities to drive organic traffic and improve overall site performance.
- Keyword Research and Content Optimization:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-potential keywords and integrate them into content strategy.
- Optimize website content, blog posts, and social media for improved visibility in search engines.
- Link Building and Content Creation:
- Plan and execute successful link building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings.
- Collaborate with content teams to create and edit high-quality SEO-optimized content.
- Website Analytics and Performance Tracking:
- Analyze website performance, track keyword rankings, and identify areas for improvement using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Monitor competitor performance and adapt strategies accordingly.
- SEO Trend Awareness:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, SEO best practices, and algorithm changes to ensure strategies remain current and effective.
- Client Interaction and Reporting:
- Regularly review client websites for areas needing improvement and create detailed SEO strategy reports.
- Provide actionable insights based on data analysis and keep clients informed on performance metrics.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in B2B SEO.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, link building, and content creation.
- Proficient with Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs), and SEO performance tracking.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Any Google Analytics, Google Ads, or related SEO certifications are a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify SEO trends and provide data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and reporting.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including content and marketing.
